So it's the holidays and I am....
Discovering new music, and am currently listening to something so gorgeous in orchestration it's unbelievable and going to make me cry while SQUEEING so hard. Track 8 "Transformation" from The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingoes is simply brilliant, there are no words, AKAJHKAJFHKDJFHSKDJFHSDASJHKJHAKJHQLWKHQWIUHQOWIURQW9879798WUOIHOIHAKJEHFKAJHK' *flail*

And I nearly missed it! I just saw a discography DL from The Cinematic Orchestra and thought "why not" since I like exploring things on a whim. Right now I'm rating this discovery right worth it for this single album alone. Nothing's hit me this hard since I listend to Thomas Newman's "Angels in America OST. No wonder it won Best Original Score at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Festival-- the score from beginning to end is absolutely marvellous-- lush strings, delicate harp, piano, chimes etc... Each song from beginning to end is delightful. And jazzy flamenco-ish tunes for dancing flamingoes, ahahaha! Currently needing sleep, but am so happy listening I don't wanna stop.
